Our names are David and Robin Sleigher and our inspiration and motivation to form Brittany Foundation of Hope is our daughter Brittany.  She has been the source of our inspiration in just about every aspect of our lives.  Brittany has Cerebral Palsy and a seizure disorder that has caused her to be severely disabled.   Her condition requires full-time care and as a result requires us to have a caregiver in our home.  Because we wanted to try to maintain the most stable home life for our entire family, we made sure that our home had always been suited for a caregiver to meet Brittany’s needs with ease.  This is how we understand that sometimes a home needs to be changed in order for the caregiver to be present at the same time as the rest of the family.  With the knowledge we have gained through raising our daughter Brittany and the experience from David’s construction business, this is how Brittany Foundation of Hope was born.  We want to reach out and help families that have severely handicapped children make any necessary changes to their homes to help make their lives a little more comfortable in caring for their son or daughter.
