Brittany Foundation of Hope is an organization whose purpose is to help families of severely handicapped children meet any construction needs, such as additions or modifications, to make their homes more suitable in caring for their handicapped child.  As a family of a severely handicapped daughter for 20 years, we understand the needs that families have in caring for their special child.  We at Brittany Foundation of Hope know that these families did not plan to have this situation in their lives, so therefore their home may not be suited or equipped for the full or part time care necessary for a child with special needs.  Also, families need to take a break from everyday care without having to leave their home when the caregiver is present.

As a Class A builder and designer of custom homes and additions for the past 10 years, we know how homes can be changed or modified to meet the needs of a handicapped child.  Most families with a special needs child do not have the funds or the energy to make changes or additions to their homes to meet these unexpected needs. Brittany Foundation of Hope will work with these families to make changes to their home to suit the physical, medical and care giver needs. We will meet this objective financially through gifts from individuals, families and friends and grants or donations from businesses, corporations and foundations.  Not only will we take the responsibility to raise these funds, but we will also find reputable contractors in the area and work to design the necessary changes in the home.

These families need someone to reach out to them and show them someone cares about their lives in dealing with this difficult situation.  We at Brittany Foundation want to be the ones to reach and show these families that there is Hope.
